ABREAKTOR

Alex Osmialowski from Düsseldorf/Germany, the guy behind ABREAKTOR, recently restarted making music after a break of some 10 years.
At that time, between 1995-97, he had some stints into Jazz, Gabba and Noisescapes.
Nowadays, he discovered the magic of newer sequencer programmes and the wonders of combining analog audio with software synthesis - he immersed himself into electronic sounds and music.
He opened up accounts on music platforms like MySpace and Soundcloud to get connected and to share his stuff online. His aim was getting as much feedback and publicity for the music as possible, and then modifying the tracks according to the feedback he is getting.

His overall motive is "Scheitern als Chance" ("failure as challenge", derived from Christoph Schlingensief). Influences in music are Autechre, Aphex Twin, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Bill Evans and loads of other projects from all kinds of genres/times. Even though most of the tracks are heavily micro-edited and rearranged, the initial spark is nearly always the music of chance...
