MUSCHKA
Muschka is a 20-year-old babysitter, student and artist from Berlin-Kreuzberg.
Always a lover of different musical genres, she has found her access to experimental music primarily through her love for dance.
An accident that prevented her from dancing for several months last year, and the lockdown led her to produce music herself.
Muschka reacts to the pandemic-related exceptional situation with minimalistic witty lyrics. However, she stresses that she does not want
to play down the pandemic along with all its consequences and the resulting suffering for so many people.
The proceeds of her EP go to German NGO ProAsyl, to support their work for the protection and rights of refugees and against Europe's inhumane policy of isolation.
Muschka is currently working on an exhibition project with the working title "Gift" (German for "poison"), but she is not revealing anything about it yet.
